Overview

This two-stage regulator has a brass body and stainless steel diaphragm and guarantees constant delivery pressure regardless of variations in cylinder pressure. Maximum inlet pressure is 3000psi, and the CGA fitting size is 580. A Swagelok™ 1/4in npt to 1/8in fitting (P/N 09903471) is included. Your elemental analyzer uses several gases. High purity oxygen (99.995 mole percent minimum) is required for sample combustion. Prepurified helium (99.995 mole percent minimum is recommended) or argon carry the products of combustion through the system. During oxygen analysis, pyrolysis of the sample takes place in an environment of helium/hydrogen or argon/hydrogen. Nitrogen, air, or argon is required to drive the valves in the PerkinElmer 2400 and PerkinElmer 2410. To maintain proper pressure, leak-free connections, and remove moisture, oil, and dust from the gases, you need PerkinElmer regulators, pneumatic connections, driers, and traps.
